The students within DPSCD are smart, creative, and talented, and we want to give them the tools for success!
We are aiming to raise at least $300,000 to help fill resource gaps in DPSCD. The Detroit Public Schools Foundation has established four funding priority areas based on demonstrated needs in our schools, which include (1) Literacy and Early Childhood Education, (2) Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), (3) Career Pathways, and (4) Experiences Beyond the Classroom. Funds raised by this campaign will support, but are not limited to, programs in these areas, as well as other needs, such as classroom technology, family resources, and scholarships.
The Educate! DETROIT Public Schools campaign is designed to engage the “Community” in DPSCD. This Community includes everyone in Detroit, because a strong public school system = a strong city!
