STEAM

  • Science, technology, engineering, arts and math — also known as STEAM — are the key to a well-rounded education that lets students explore the world in which they live. Through STEAM, students learn how to become adaptable, critical thinkers and learners — an important skill that they’ll use into their adult lives.

  • Book Scholarships

A three-year investment from Michigan Futures Inc. and the Berman Foundation has given the district a glimpse at how Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine graduates are doing in college. The Book Scholarships provide support to bridge the gap between high school and college, showing where more support is needed. They also have significantly improved alumni tracking.
