SUBMIT A GRANT PROPOSAL FORM TO THE FOUNDATION.

The applicant must complete and submit a proposal to the DPS Foundation on or before the cycle deadline using the appropriate Grant Proposal Application. If we award a grant to the applicant, the applicant shall be required to enter into a grant agreement with the DPS Foundation setting out the terms and conditions of the grant, including reporting requirements.

The Grant Proposal Application and related documents should be submitted to the DPS Foundation by email as an attachment to grants@dpsfdn.org. In the subject line of the email please write DPSF Grant Application– Cycle 1, 2 or 3 (please use corresponding cycle). We will not consider a Grant Proposal Application that is not submitted by email.

APPLICANTS SHOULD NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS FROM THE DPS FOUNDATION.

1. We give priority to grant applications for programs in the following areas:
a) Literacy and Early Childhood Education
b) STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Math)
c) Career Pathways
d) Beyond the Classroom

2. Priority is given to grant applications for programs that are “intensive”, i.e. that involve multiple concentrated and focused learning opportunities and have a lasting impact on students, rather than “exposure” programs, i.e. that might serve a large number of students but have little or no lasting impact.

3. We seek opportunities to use our grant funds to leverage support from other sources. Therefore, the DPS Foundation gives priority to applications that intend to use our grant funds as matching or leveraged support.

4. We will not consider an application for a grant under $500.
