The DPS Foundation congratulates its President, Dr. Glenda Price, for receiving two prestigious recognitions this fall. Dr. Price, a long-time advocate of quality education and extended learning opportunities for children was honored by Temple University and The Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary for her education advocacy and her untiring service.

Temple University, Gallery of Success, recognizes alumni who exemplify the university’s long-standing tradition of self-made success, and who have brought honor to the university by distinguishing themselves in their fields. The Gallery’s uses these alumni as inspiration for current and future students to forge their own futures. Dr. Price was the selection of her alma mater, the Temple University College of Public Health.

Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM), Theresa Maxis Award, honors an individual who embodies the values and vision of IHM through deep faith, a pioneering spirit, service to the poor, and commitment to justice. IHM recognized Dr. Price as the personification of Theresa Maxis’ work and courageous spirit.
