The Detroit Public Schools Community District Foundation, alongside the McGregor Fund, has created an opportunity for two Henry Ford High School seniors who plan to attend a public university in Michigan. Each awarded applicant will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Application Requirements:
- Complete the online application
- Must be a graduated senior of the class of 2024 from DPSCD
- A letter of recommendation by a DPSCD teacher, counselor, principal, or community leader.
- Official transcript
- 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Students will be required to submit a 1-page APA formatted essay explaining:
- Tell us about yourself
- Your academic goals
- How have you grown academically and socially during your high school career?
- How will the funds, if awarded, positively affect you?
All documents need to be submitted in PDF format.
All scholarship funds will be distributed to the institute directly.
