In August at Reading and Rhythm on the Riverfront.  Thank you, Carol Cain and sister Nancy, for the donation of proceeds from your mother’s book, the Tale of the Beautiful Cat. GM’s Lori Wingerter, who made the partnership possible, and Pamela Moore read the book to the children and families on a windy Friday.  DPSCD Deputy Superintendent Alycia Meriweather and Jamie Ruthenberg, Illustrator, stopped by for the fun as well as the Honorable Congressman John Conyers.
