Each year the last Thursday in November calls upon us to pause and give thanks for all that we have been given and experienced over the past year. Here at the DPS Foundation we are thankful for:
- The many donors that have contributed to us to support DPS students
- The many teachers who work each day to ensure that our students learn
- The partners who donate their time, energy, and expertise in the schools every day
- Our Board of Directors, Development Committee, and Alumni Advisory Board who provide leadership and advice to the Foundation staff
- The parents and caregivers who entrust their children to the Detroit Public Schools
- The opportunity to make a difference in the education of DPS students
